Welcome to all my patient readers and listeners. This podcast is the first official one of Crochet For Men, and I am so excited with what we have to offer you this week!

First off, I do want to let you know that the format has changed fom what you have been hearing. Instead of hearing music in the background at all times, you will only hear it at the beginning, the closing and the intros. Speaking of intros, they are:

  • Crochet in the news.
In this section we shall cover news stories that is important to crocheters, especially men.
  • Interviews
This section of the podcast shall be where we interview someone, such as a MenWhoCrochet eGroup member, a celebrity or even another crocheter. This is not limited to only men!!
  • Reviews
In this section we will review one to three products to let you know what we like and what we dislike about it. Products can entail books, supplies, and even websites.

  • Free Stuff
This is not going to be a feature in every podcast, but when we find something cool and free, be it a pattern (or patterns), supplies, books, or a great deal, we'll tell you here!

As always, I love feedback and encourage you to do so. Please email me at CrochetForMen@gmail.com. This also includes any news stories, any ideas, requests or suggestions for interiews and/or items to be reviewed. Remember, this podcast is for you, my listeners, so please don't be shy!

Apologies and explaination

Hello everyone!

I am so sorry that this weeks podcast has not been up yet.

To tell the truth, we at Crochet For Men have been having quite a lot going on in our lives. One of the reasons the podcast is not yet up is because I and some very close friends & family went to see Robert Allen & Mark Victor Hansen's Cracking the Millionaire Code. I do actually own some Chicken Soup for the Soul books, as well as One Minute Millionaire and Cracking the Millionaire Code. I highly recommend that all my readers take a look at these two men and their books. They are quite amazing!

Secondly, I have been beseiged by news for the podcast, and am currently putting it all together. I hope that these stories will entertain and enlighten you all!

Finally, you can expect the next podcast by tomorrow (Thursday August 25th). Keep on listening, and please feel free to email me at crochetformen@gmail.com

And yet more to look forward to!

Good morning my readers, subscribers and podcast listeners!

I received some exciting (and some sad) news in my email today! Peter Franzi, owner of the MenWhoCrochet Yahoo! group has agreed to an interview for the Crochet For Men podcast! Unfortunately, though, Peter has gone through a tough time in his life right now.

For those of you who pray (light candles, chant, etc.) please keep Peter in your prayers.

The other exciting email is from Dean 'Dino' Harpster who will also be interviewed for an upcoming podcast. So keep your iPods and mp3 players tuned into this website to find out when their debut is to be!

May all your yarn be inexpensive yet look like a million dollars!

A peek into things to come!

Hello to all my faithful listeners and readers!

I just wanted to take a moment and post some new and exciting items that will be discussed in an upcoming podcast.

First off, today I met two wonderful gentlemen at the Dulcimer Shop in Manitou Springs (Colorado). They were quite wonderful to speak with, and I enjoyed the owner stumming out some good folk music on his Mountain Dulcimer (he even played a little Iron Man).

The owner and his webmaster (I will post their website at the time of the podcast. Currently it is being rebuilt and updated.) have agreed to allow me an interview with them on crochet. As soon as everything is official I will post it here as an announcement.

And by the way: We all may even get to listen to a little bit of their music from the owner's band, "Cripple Creek" so stay tuned!
